CVS, Walgreens & Target

Some of the great deals at CVS, Walgreen’s & Target the week of July 6th

CVS:
(ECB=extra care bucks.
OOP=out of pocket
CVS offers ECBs when you buy certain products. Many times they offer things that are free meaning you pay OOP and get ECBs. The trick to CVS is use your ECBs to pay and get ECBs back. So you pay as little out of pocket as possible. Try to grow your ECBs buy continuing to purchase products with ECB offers AND use coupons so you are spending LESS than you are getting back!) I use ECBs to purchase baby products (diapers, wipes, pullups). I’ve also gotten so much free and cheap makeup lately which was one thing I hardly bought before. And Jeremiah loves to go with me b/c I usually let him pick a small toy or candy and pay little out of pocket for it. Sometimes there are great opportunities for ECB “money maker”, if I do not want/need the product, I will get it to build my ECBs (for DIAPERS etc) and just give the stuff away.

  • FREE MASCARA! Covergirl Mascara (the orange tube) is Buy one Get one free. Sunday’s newspaper came out with BOGO Coupons. Buy 2, use a coupon and get them both FREE!
  • Olay Regenerist deal: Buy $20 Olay products get $10 ECBs. (limit 1) I purchased 3 products at $5.99 and one at $4.99 and used 2 $3 off coupons and one $1 coupon. I spent $12.96 (used ECBs to pay of course!) and got $10 Extra Care bucks back. So technically I paid $2.96 for all of it. EVEN BETTER if you have a $4/20 skin care coupon to use as well… from coupon printer inside store.
  • FREE Dawn Soap with overage! Dawn dish soap is $2/2. ($1 each). Sunday’s paper had $1 coupons. Get back $1 ECB per 2 bottles = MONEY MAKER
  • FEBREZE Buy $10 Worth of Febreeze Products, Get $5 ECBs (Limit 1)Buy 2 Febreeze sprays at $3.99 each, Buy 2 Febreeze Air Effects at $2.50 each. Use 2 B1G1 coupons from the 07/06 P&G insert. Spend $7.98 OOP, Get $5 ECBs = $2.98 (Thanks Money Saving mom for this deal idea)\
  • SURE DEODERANT: Buy 2 Sure Deodorants, Get $3 ECBs (Limit 3), Use 2 $1/1 coupons from 05/11 SmartSource insert, Spend $3.68 OOP, get $3 ECBs = $.58 (Apparently this is better if you have the buy one get one rebate from sunday’s paper, I guess I missed that one!)
  • FREE CVS Cleansing clothes! Buy 1 15-count CVS brand cleansing towelettes at $2.99, Get $2.99 ECBs (Limit 5) Use $2/1 CVS skincare product coupon here Spend $0.99 out of pocket, Get $1 ECBs back

WALGREENS:
wanted to share this deal I read about on moneysavingmom.com

Walgreens Diapers/Pullups Deal Buy 3 packages of Walgreens diapers at $7.99 each
Use $2/1 coupon from the the Prescription Savings Booklet, found at pharmacy desk (should take $2 off each pack)
Use $5/2 coupon from EasySaver July booklet (should take $2.50 off each pack=$7.50)
Get $5 Register Reward (good for next purchase)
$1.82 per pack of diapers/pullups after coupons and Register Rewards
(I used the $5 RR to get the boys new toothbrushes)

Also needed Swiffer solution which was on sale for $2-something.

TARGET:

You can print target coupons here: print as much as you want as often as you want!

  • Bountifuls Dressing (LOVE THIS STUFF!) $1.99 each (if you shop at walmart, this is also a great deal there, it sells for $1.88 there).  $.75 coupon from sunday paper = $1.24
  • Cascadian Farms cereal: print $1 coupon here and here,
  • Muir Glenn tomatoes $1 coupon (also at above sites). Diced tomatoes $1.47 -$1 Q, = $.47, tomato paste $1.09 - $1= $.09
  • Classico Sauce $1 Target Coupon, sale $2.14 = $1.14
  • Fast Fixins frozen chicken nuggets, sale $4 – $1 coupon = $3 get 5 $1 coupons from fast fixin website when you register or coupons.com and boodle.com
  • Free/cheap deli cheese, print $1 Target coupons, this depends on the $ per pound and how much you want to pay– I had 3 coupons and asked for 1/4 lb of 3 different kinds. Each came out to be $1.21 so after $1 coupons my cheese came to $0.21

This is real interesting to me, I need to have you show me exactly how this works. The whole OOP and ECB’s gives me a headache, go figure!

Looks like some pretty good deals.

    Thanks,

    Ed
