Cellfire Coupons

I have, in the past, overlooked Cellfire. Thanks to Marcy at Stretching a Buck I have discovered another way to save at Kroger.

Cellfire sends coupons to your cellphone, however I thought that would just complicate the whole coupon thing even more, so I never gave it much thought. (Call me old-fashioned?) Marcy said she used her home phone number instead of her cell phone and it let her add coupons to her Kroger card. Well, I entered my cell phone (b/c we do not use a land line) and did not enter the verification that it sends and just logged in right after joining. When I went to the coupons, it let me enter my Kroger Plus card number and add it.
This is another great way to save– if you are not familiar with loading coupons to your Kroger card, you might also want to check out Shortcuts and the P&G esaver. Cellfire coupons can be used in conjunction with these other loadable coupons and the “old-fashioned” paper coupons ;)

The coupons on cellfire for Kroger right now are:

$0.50/1 Cottonelle Toilet Paper (4 pk +)
$0.50/1 Pepperidge Farm Goldfish
FREE box of Active Lifestyle Weight Control Oatmeal (any)
$1/1 Huggies Diapers (any)
$1.50/1 Huggies Surpreme Diapers (any)
$1/1 Kotex Product (any)
$1/1 Pepperidge Farm Frozen Bread (any)
$1.50/1 Private Selection Deli Pizza (any)
Buy one (1) 20 ounce bottle of Naturally Preferred Water, any variety, and get one FREE.

Free Online viewing of "Come What May" – ends 10/29!

This is the last day to take advantage of this offer! Go here and click the link. I have not watched it yet but it looks like it has an awesome message. We need to show Hollywood that there is an audience for these Christian movies!

Menu Plan Monday

I’m joining in on Laura’s Menu Plan Monday

Keep reading to see my menu & some recipes!

I’m planning mostly our dinners because it is pretty spontaneous. Sometimes the kids will want cereal and sometimes waffles or eggs. Not much to plan so we go with it.

As far as lunches go, we usually have sandwiches, leftovers or some sort of soup. I’m planning Cream of Chicken Soup this week and we can have that for lunch.

Dinners:

M-Oven Fried Chicken Legs (changed thsi recipe to a much easier one I”ve made before, Curry Couscous

T-Chicken Vegetable Soup (I hardly ever stick to a recipe! I will be using whatever frozen veggies I have, shredded baby carrots–thanks Target!, chicken broth instead of water and diced tomatoes/tomato sauce instead of the V8

W-Saucy Italian Style Chicken Thighs — slow-cooker (using legs instead of thighs)

T-Chili Roasted Cod, Spinach

F-Baked Fish with Parmesan Sour Cream Sauce (Tilapia instead of Orange Roughy), Sundried Tomato Risotto

S-Tex-Mex Fajitas, Chips & Salsa, Guacamole

S-Chicken Stir Fry (throwing together some chicken tenderloins and frozen bagged veggies and noodles)

My favorite online recipe sites:

Myrecipes.com features recipes from Cooking Light, Southern Living, Sunset, Coastal Living, Cottage Living, Health and Real Simple magazines!

Supercook.com is awesome! You enter what ingredients you have and it comes up with what recipes you can make with what you have or tells you what else you need.
