Crystal posted her great goals here at Biblical Womanhood. She has challenged us to share our progress each month…it’s only been 1 month so I have a lot to keep working on! so here goes…
Here’s my original 2009 Goals post.
Goals for womanlyexcellence.com
Well, I’ve definitely not let blogging become priority lately as you can see from the lack of posts! The other goals of blogging more about God and getting back into the Proverbs 31 study are still IP!
Personal Goals
working on my spiritual discipline (this is something that I’m sure I will ALWAYS be improving. I don’t think we can ever outgrow the need to be more spiritually disciplined!)
OH and I’m adding a goal here! TO FINISH SCHOOL! I’m an online student at Sessions Online Schools of Art & Design… I’m finishing up my Graphic Design Certificate with dual concentrations in Branding and Web Design. It is very flexible and self-paced. They have been so awesome-I was able to take a leave of absence when Jadyn was born and I’ve gotten extensions here and there. My program deadline is September and I am determined to get it done! My struggle here is finding time to allow just for school work, with three children home all day and a husband who is home most of the day (because of his shift), it is hard to set that time aside.
Household/Family Goals
- I have re-created and implemented a cleaning schedule again! woohoo! I’m still tweaking it to fit our daily schedule and it is a work in progress but it’s a start.
- One thing we wanted to do was to have people over more often for dinner, or whatever… we were blessed to have some friends over for dinner in January! We’ll be having our 3rd Annual Valentine’s Party in a couple weeks and hopefully dinner with some friends later on this month.
Just for Fun…if I ever find the extra time!
One of my goals was to read more…if I find the extra time! I am currently reading The Shack, which someone let me borrow! (Thanks, Pastor Eddie!!)
Blogging and revisiting our goals is a great idea and very helpful in accomplishing them! Visit BiblicalWomanhood to follow other’s as they reach their goals for this year!
